agb probe

Measure pool concurrency and latency and append the results to a calibration file.

agb probe sends trivial prompts to a model at increasing concurrency widths and prints one JSON line per width.

Synopsis

agb probe [widths] [model]

Measure pool concurrency/latency, print JSON lines; appends results to $AGB_CALIBRATION_DIR or ./docs/calibration/probes-<day>.md.

This command takes no flags.

Arguments

Both arguments are optional (C12):

  • widths: comma-separated concurrency widths, default 2,4,8.
  • model: the model label, default Gemini 3.8 Flash (Low).

Each row reports model, width, ok, wall_ms, median_ms and max_ms.

Calibration output

When at least one request succeeds, the rows are appended to probes-<YYYY-MM-DD>.md in AGB_CALIBRATION_DIR, or in docs/calibration/ under the current working directory when that is unset. A failed write is reported but does not change the exit code (calibration write).

See Calibration.
