antigravity-booster
Getting Started

Installation

Prerequisites (agy >= 1.2.6, Node >= 22.19.0), agy plugin install and the ~/.local/bin/agb shim

agb ships as a native Antigravity plugin. You install it with agy, then run bootstrap once to install the companion plugin and the agb terminal command.

Prerequisites

RequirementMinimumWhere it is enforced
Node.js>= 22.19.0engines.node in package.json
Antigravity CLI (agy)>= 1.2.6, authenticated, on your PATHMIN_AGY_VERSION in lib/doctor.mjs (C1)
gitany recent versionthe target repository must be a git repo
SandboxmacOS sandbox-exec, or Linux bwrap (bubblewrap)checked by agb doctor

The agy minimum exists because agb drives workers with --output-format stream-json. Older versions fail the doctor check with Upgrade agy to >= 1.2.6 to support --output-format stream-json. (lib/doctor.mjs).

Install

Install the plugin from the Antigravity Marketplace or git

In Antigravity >= 1.4.11, you can install Antigravity Booster from the Antigravity Plugin Marketplace (Customizations > Marketplace in the desktop app, /plugin Discover tab in the CLI, or via agy plugin install):

agy plugin install antigravity-booster@antigravity-plugins-official

You don't need npm install: the runtime ships prebuilt under dist/, and the adlc-antigravity companion plugin ships as a vendored release tarball. Once installed, the Customizations > Installed detail view surfaces three starter prompt chips (suggestedPrompts in plugin.json) for /agb, /agb-plan, and /agb-review, and you can type /agb <description> in any session to route natural-language requests to the right agb command.

Run bootstrap through the plugin launcher

The agb command does not exist yet, so run bootstrap through the launcher inside the installed plugin:

/bin/sh "$HOME/.gemini/config/plugins/antigravity-booster/bin/node-launcher.sh" dist/agb.mjs bootstrap

Bootstrap installs the integrity-pinned adlc-antigravity plugin and writes the terminal shim.

Put ~/.local/bin on your PATH

Bootstrap writes the terminal shim to ~/.local/bin/agb with mode 0755 (installTerminalShim, called from lib/bootstrap.mjs). Make sure that directory is on your PATH:

export PATH="$HOME/.local/bin:$PATH"

The Antigravity slash commands (/agb <description>, /agb-run, /agb-doctor, /agb-migrate, ...) tell the model to run ~/.local/bin/agb <subcommand>, so they also depend on the shim.

Verify

agb doctor

See Verify your setup for what each check means.

How the shim behaves

  • If the shim is missing, bootstrap writes it.
  • If it is already byte-identical, bootstrap leaves it alone (and fixes its mode if needed).
  • If it exists with different content, bootstrap prints a warning and skips it unless you pass --force-reinstall (lib/plugin-paths.mjs).

npm is a secondary channel

npm install -g antigravity-booster still works, but the plugin plus ~/.local/bin/agb is the primary install. agb doctor warns when another agb on your PATH resolves somewhere other than the shim (lib/doctor.mjs). To move an existing npm install onto the plugin, see Upgrading from npm.
